Greeting Cards Anyone??

I love cards! One of my most favorite pass times is card shopping. I don't even have to buy anything. I just love to read all the quirky poems and laugh at the dry humor. I have been known to spend 30 minutes on the card isle at the store, laughing out loud to myself. It's true.

So, a few weeks ago at a church activity, us women were taught how to make homemade greeting cards. I loved it! All it takes is a little creativity and patience and Ta Da!...A card. But not just a card, it's a card that love and carful thought went into. Even better! So, this inspired me to make cards on my own and it looked like a fun hobby I could aquire, because I have zero hobbies. I quickly realized I was lacking material to make these cards of mine, so naturally I ventured my way over to Hobby Lobby this afternoon. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they were having a 30% off sale off all scrapbooking supplies. Nice. Ryan sent me in there with a 30 dollar limit and that pretty much bought me the basics of what I needed. I easily could have spent 200 dollars, so Ryan, you are welcome. :)

Here are some of the cards I have made. They are really simple, but the paper is so cute I didn't want to froof it up too much. (Froof is a word right?)

That is so funny that you love card reading. My Mother and I do this all the time together and pas the card we buy around without signing them just putting a note in it so we can reuse the best ones.
Aria and I love to make cards together. Its fun to give a little of yourself in a handmade card.
