First Day of Fall

Is anyone else a little freaked out that it is already the end of September??!! I mean seriously... Where did the year go?!

Anyways, I would like to be the first to officially usher in the wonderfulness that is Fall. I was pleasantly surprised to step outside this morning and not feel the need to immediately take another shower.

Fall is probably my favorite season. It quite possibly could be because my birthday is in October...but I especially love the smell of fall spices, the turning of leaves, carving of pumpkins, warm soup, the beginning of the hunting season and of course the cool camping-friendly weather. And, AND!! it means Thanksgiving and Christmas are just around the corner, and who doesn't look forward to that?!

So, hello Fall. I have been waiting for you.

The Puppies are Here!

Sophie, my parents' English Bulldog, had her puppies on the 8th of September and they are so stinking cute. There are 7 of them total- 2 female and 5 male.

They are FOR SALE so if you are interested, let me know. they are 2 weeks old now, and will be ready for their new homes in 6 more weeks. We will get better pictures of them when they are a week or two older.

13 weeks!

Today I am 13 weeks pregnant and I am feeling 100% better with the nausea and sickness. I am still a tiny bit tired, but it's nothing compared to the zombie-like trance I was in for the longest time. Which translates to...I am loving life again! I actually enjoy eating- something that has been more of a chore for the past 2 months of my life.

We find out in about 5 1/2 weeks what we are having. We are DYING to know if it's a boy or a girl!!! I've added a poll on the side bar for those of you who want to guess- just to make it interesting. Voting starts NOW! Go!

I'm pretty sure we are set on first names if it is a boy or girl, but will not disclose this information until a later date. We don't want any Stealer McStealertons stealing our names! That's just plain RUDE!



So, the baby is approximately 3 inches in length (crown to rump) this week and weighs around 1 ounce. (Comparable to the length of a shrimp when it's all stretched out, I guess.) Shrimp cocktail anyone??!! Holy cow that sounds amazing right now.

Matthew and Mandy were in town for the weekend, so we took the opportunity to take some pictures. Their last professional pics together were taken on their wedding day. Not cool.
