This past weekend Ryan's MTC mission companion, "Gus" Jones, visited us from Nephi, Utah. It was great to finally meet him, since I've only heard about him for the past 2 years through letters and seen him in pictures. Friday he went to work with Ryan, and that evening we went to the Cheesecake Factory and saw Evan Almighty. (both the restaraunt and movie I highly recommend) He bought us dinner as our wedding gift. Thanks Gus!
Saturday afternoon I went to a baby shower with my mom for a woman in the ward while Gus and Ryan went to the Temple. We caught up later and went fishing! We met Chandler there and thought we would have an awesome fishing outting....but um NO. Not one bite....pretty sure it sucked. And I got the 50 mesquito bites to proove it.
This weekend Ryan and I are taking a mini vacation to the Bryan/College Station Area to check out the area that we will call home for the next 3 or 4 years. We are very excited to be out on our own. But, we are very grateful to mom and dad for letting us stay with them for the summer:) Thats all for now....

We are new to this...
Well, after many coaxing text messages from my sister, Ryan and I have decided to create a Blog. Yes, I know you all must be very excited, but be patient as we are learning how to navigate around...
