Haven't been blogging for quite some time now. Blogging started to become a chore, ya know what I mean? Life got pretty hectic with our move in December and with all the traveling Ryan has been doing with work. We live in Fate, Texas about 30 minutes west of Dallas. WE LOVE the area. We love our ward. Ryan is the Decons quorum advisor. I am in the Nursery (yes, AGAIN). There are soooo many young families in our ward which is great. Zoe has made a handful of friends, and we are enjoying going to play groups with them. Seems like we are in the right place. :)
We are excited to announce that we are expecting our second baby this fall! My due date is November 19, 2012 so I am a little over half-way there. We had to do 3 rounds of Clomid this time, which was a bit frustrating at the time, but we are SO grateful.
For the most part I would say this pregnancy has been pretty much a carbon copy of my first. Sick in the first tirmester, better by the second. Eating like a cow. There are only a few differences maybe. I am much more tired. Probably because I have to chase Zoe around, but it's nothing a little nap can't cure most of the time. I also feel like my belly is getting bigger faster. But I'm sure everyone says that so that's nothing special. And I am carrying LOW this time. It is not very comfortable let's just say that.
We found out at 16 weeks that we are having a GIRL. We plan to name her Cora. Not sure if we will do a middle name or not. But we LOVE the name. It means "heart" which i think is really sweet. We originally heard the name on a TV commercial, which is lame, but later found out that my Great-great Grandmother's name was Cora, so that was a cool surprise. I am anxious to learn more about her life and the kind of woman she was. We are extremely excited for Zoe to have a little sister! Zoe will be 2 1/2 plus a couple months when Cora arrives. Love that our family is growing!
We moved Zoe to a big bed the beginning of this month. She is doing great with it. She still doesn't know that she can get out of bed, and I am okay with that. We were afraid she would fall out of the bed in the middle of the night because she was such a wild sleeper in her crib, but she doesn't move around in the big bed like we thought she would. So that is good.
I am leaving for 5 days to go to the Bahamas with my sister and Mom on Thursday. This is the first girls trip we have ever done so I am looking forward to it. I plan to just sit and do NOTHING. And drink pina coladas. I'm excited for the little vacation. It is definitely coming at a much needed time for me. And I'm excited for Zoe and Ryan to get some one-on-one time together. Ryan is taking off work to be with her. I think he has some fun things planned for the two of them. :) Now to find a swimsuit to cover up my fat belly...
