This November we decided to visit Mandy and Matthew in San Francisco. We had a lot of fun, as always. We:
-had a Scentsy party.
-went to Pier 39 to see the seals, shop and see the Christmas decor. It was quite breezy and chilly!
-played the dance game on M&M's xbox kinect. Good times. Even Ryan showed us a few moves.
-ate at some yummy restaraunts.
-went to the San Fran Zoo. It was awesome!
-went to Muir Woods.
-went to the Oakland Temple. The grounds were beautifully decorated in Christmas lights.
-went to Union square.

It was a ton of fun! Can't wait to go back. :)

Puerto Rico

During the week of Ryan's last Spring Break, we packed out bags and headed to Puerto Rico! We had such a great time, the weather was perfect, and grandparents were able to spend time with Zoe. Win, Win, Win.

While in Puerto Rico Ryan raced his first Trialthon ever. It was the San Juan 70.3 Half-Ironman Inagural event. Ryan did so great, especially since it was his first Tri. With Ironman Texas and Ironman Canada coming up in May and August...this was sort of just a long training day for him.

In the water, ready for the swim.

Beach Time. We had a great time at the beach. Zoe loved getting her toes in the sand again. It had been almost 6 months since we were at the beach in San Francisco. She loved eating and throwing the sand. She had a ball! She loved the water too. she would just run right for the ocean. Crazy lady.

We are Destin Bound, My Friends

We are driving to Destin, Florida tomorrow morning with some of our very besties. We are leaving quite early actually- 4:00am. It should be interesting to see what we all actually look like at that time of the morning, but I'm not sure if I will be coherent enough to make the observation. I plan on being doped up on sleeping pills until we get there because for me, car rides + being pregnant = not fun. So I opt for the easy way out. Drugs. Pregnant-Lady-Safe, of course.

The tallest building is the place where we are staying. Yeah, there's a pool on the roof. And it's pretty much awesome. And I definitely foresee some nightly walks on the beach...

I am kind of bummed about the forecast though. There is like a 40% chance of rain every day we are there. BOO! Hopefully it won't rain EVERY DAY, ALL DAY. Although I do love me some thunderstorms. Just no hurricanes, please. Honestly I don't care if it rains, snows, sleets, or whatever else. I will be relaxing regardless.

See you suckas on the flip side yo.

Hola! Part II

And the DR trip continues...

While in the Dominican Republic we were able to ride some zip lines! To get to the zip lines we had to ride on a bumpy bus through the villages of Punta Cana and up into the mountains.

The Dominican Republic countryside...

The kids "playing" on their "playground" during recess. Crazy.

I look a little less than thrilled in this picture, but I REALLY did have fun. It was awesome. I think I was just concentrating on not twisting around or something. If I had one complaint... it would be the harnesses. Man! They are NOT comfortable on your behind.

Hot and tired from hiking. So fun!

Our tour guide. I wish I remembered his name, he was pretty fun.

On the way back to the resort, we stopped at a tienda to get something to snack on. These kids were hangin around and were so cute. Ryan gave one of them some of our chips. I think he felt like he had been given a nice juicy filet mignon.

These kids were selling flowers.

The next day we took a Segway tour along the beach. I have ALWAYS wanted to ride one of those! And I finally got the chance! It was beyond fun.
Photobucket

Aww how cute.
